This fund resources initiatives powered by emerging technologies that accelerate sport’s contribution to the achievement of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. This will include the creation of a networking and knowledge exchange collective, as well as provision of grants for emerging tech innovations in sport for social impact. This could include, but is not limited to, technologies that innovate education and training, governance, inclusion, community engagement, monitoring and evaluation, safeguarding, and fundraising. Registered and unregistered organisations, NGOs, sports clubs, start-ups, companies, research institutes, Decentralised Autonomous Organisations (DAOs) and collectives are encouraged to apply.

This fund supports innovations delivered by a collaboration of partners committed to integrating sports-based solutions into non-sport settings, and non-sports-based solutions into sport and sport for sustainable development. NGOs, complementary development sectors (health, education, environmental, humanitarian), public sector and research, policy and training institutions are encouraged to apply.

This fund supports innovations from new and established social enterprises, social businesses and social entrepreneurs which promote income generation models and sustainable finance solutions for sport for sustainable development. Social businesses and entrepreneurs, start-ups and registered non-profits looking to incorporate income generation or sustainable finance solutions into sport for development are encouraged to apply.

This fund resources community-based groups and individuals working at a local level to seed, test and scale innovations that reimagine how sport can be leveraged for social impact. Grassroots groups (registered and unregistered) and individuals working locally with an annual income of USD 150,000 or less are encouraged to apply.

To recognize existing innovations making a powerful impact on sport for sustainable development, our first annual Ignite365 Awards went to five initiatives driving change in communities across the world.

Grassroorts365 fund is supporting 12 grassroots projects using sport to address pressing societal issues aligned with specific community needs, with emphasis placed on equitable access to resources.

Enterprise365 includes nine social enterprises that are promoting income generation models, sustainable finance solutions and regenerative investments to advance sport for sustainable development projects.

Collective365 is supporting 13 collaborative projects that are innovating ways to integrate sport-based solutions into non-sporting contexts or non-sport solutions into the sport for development sector.

Tech365 Explore think tank includes twenty-five teams of innovators using emerging technologies to accelerate sport’s contribution to sustainable development and exchanging knowledge and practices to benefit people, communities and the planet.

Grassroots365 Incubate is supporting 15 early-stage changemakers through a six-month innovation journey to develop innovative, locally driven solutions to advance sustainable development through sport.

Tech365 Incubate supports six innovators to seed or expand their innovation in leveraging the universality of sport with the potential of technology to advance UN Sustainable Development Goals.
