**BIO**

Vira is an Olympian in Rhythmic Gymnastics from Beijing 2008, who also holds two masters degrees and a PhD in physical education and sport. An IOC Young Leader since 2015, she is a current member of the IOC Olympic Education Commission.

**PROJECT DESCRIPTION**

Vira’s current project is “ECOlympic”, which seeks to use the power of sport and Olympians to educate young people in Ukraine about the dangers of waste culture.

It follows the success of #OlympicLab, Vira’s first start-up project delivered in partnership with Ukraine’s National Olympic Committee (NOC), which connects sport to lifestyle education in areas such as healthy eating, leadership, business, healthy lifestyle, mental health and volunteering. Now owned and managed by the NOC, in partnership with the Coca-Cola Foundation, the #OlympicLab project reaches 100,000 young Ukrainians every year.
