Sigurd Roestad

BIO

Sigurd lives in South East Norway. His sports background is in football and he has built a track record in developing local youth sports in Norway over recent years. Sigurd describes himself as energetic, kind, caring and ambitious.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Sigurd’s project has developed in light of the impact of Covid-19. It is now integrated with his job at the Norwegian Sports Federation, with a focus on events specifically designed for inclusion of young people with disabilities. The goal is to organise three sporting events where young people with disabilities can try out different sports with a view to joining dedicated clubs.
