**BIO**

Mirjana turned her passion for sports into volunteering at sports events including the Youth Olympic Games and European Youth Olympic Festival. She has a BA in Applied Economics for Tourism. Currently, she works for the NOC of Serbia as project Coordinator of its "Virtual Olympic Museum”.

**PROJECT DESCRIPTION**

Hi 5 Happy Caravan aims to use sports to encourage social inclusion and foster newly built relationships between migrants and refugees from five refugee centres in Serbia and pupils from local schools. The project relies on sport as a common "language" and a proven mechanism for fostering the inclusion of disadvantaged groups. Cricket was chosen because, while not well-established in Serbia, it is one of the most popular sports in the refugees’ countries of origin. A modified version of Football encouraging greater female inclusion was also introduced, with sessions led and supported by leading Serbian athletes.
