Jeannette is studying a Masters in Olympic Studies, Olympic Education, Organisation and Management of Olympic Events at the International Olympic Academy. Her research focuses on including the values of Olympism in primary school Physical Education curricula in Trinidad and Tobago. She owns her own business, Sport on Services.

Project description

Jeanette’s project promotes “healthy and active living” among young people by connecting the efforts of sport and health organisations in her country, Trinidad and Tobago. Over three years, the project has reached an estimated 1000 participants aged four to 16 through schools, youth camps, sports clubs and public events. The sessions are highly interactive by design including sport, a local fruit and vegetable mascot, fruit snacks and a question and answer segment with athlete role models.
