**BIO**

Guilherme was the Legal Counsel responsible for sports law and governance subjects at the Brazilian Olympic Committee for many years. He was the legal co-responsible for NOC's major governance restructuring after Rio 2016. He also spearheaded the work group set up for drafting and implementing its safeguarding policy and published the book "Lex Sportiva: between the public sphere, the private autonomy and the need for accountability" (Portuguese).
