BIO

Corine is an LA-based community relations manager. She worked with the Los Angeles 2024/2028 Bid Committee and has since transferred to the Organising Committee for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, where she looks forward to the opportunities for positive community impact through sport.

Project description

Corine’s project aims to use the opportunity of Los Angeles’ first Paralympic Games to increase accessibility to youth para sports and shift biases toward individuals with physical impairments. The project aims to give structure to the currently segregated youth para sports landscape, encourage knowledge-sharing and, over time, align stakeholder efforts towards the common goals of increasing access to youth para sports and normalising disability. The ultimate goal is to use the road to the LA28 Paralympic Games to act as a catalyst to inspire, engage and spark societal change.
