Horacio Rodríguez Larreta was born in Buenos Aires in 1965. He is married and has three daughters. He has been the Mayor of the city since 9 December 2015. Prior to that, he served for 8 years as Chief of Cabinet of Mayor Mauricio Macri, current President of Argentina.

Rodríguez Larreta holds a BA in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires and a Master's in Business Administration from Harvard University.

Using the unique power of sport to bring people together, the Olympism in Action Forum saw a range of global players, including Olympic Movement stakeholders, athletes, private and public sector leaders, NGO representatives, academics, artists and the media come together to talk on topical contemporary issues.
