Over the past 25 years, Diamil Faye has gained vast experience within the Olympic Movement. After contributing to the return of Cambodia to the Olympic Movement in 1994, he has held managerial positions with different Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committees, including Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008, as well as the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games.

Faye’s Olympic experience also includes advising bid cities, such as New York 2012, Sochi 2014, Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024.

At the continental level, Faye worked as an expert for the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games and the Brazzaville 2015 African Games. An active member of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) Games Commission, he played a key role in the planning and delivery of the last three African Youth Games: Rabat 2010, Gaborone 2014 and Algiers 2018. His expertise also includes consulting for FIFA on restructuring football federations.

In 2012, Faye launched the JSPORTS sportswear brand, which is the number-one brand chosen by African Olympic teams since the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The organiser of the annual Africa International Sports Convention (CISA), Faye initiated the Africa Sports Hall of Fame and CISA Kids, a sports and education programme in Senegal with thousands of schoolchildren enrolled since 2007, both in rural areas and in cities.

Currently, Faye works as a senior adviser for the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee.
