David Aufhauser, Managing Director of Intel Sports, is responsible for leading strategic partnerships, Intel Sports’ Olympic business and product activation with customers across the media industry.
Aufhauser joined Intel Sports in 2016 as part of the acquisition of VOKE, a live sports and entertainment virtual reality company. He served as Chief Strategy and Product Officer, responsible for driving the company's strategic vision and bringing immersive virtual reality experiences to the market with customers including the Olympics, NBA, NFL, MLB, PGA Tour, La Liga and more.
Before joining VOKE, Aufhauser was a founding member of the Pac-12 Networks’ executive team. As General Manager and Vice President of Pac-12 Digital, he led all aspects of the Pac-12’s digital business including products, technology, content, distribution and revenue.
Earlier in his career, Aufhauser served various leadership roles at iconic digital media companies including Justin.tv (Twitch; acquired by Amazon), Yahoo!, Bebo (acquired by AOL), Evite (acquired by IAC), Netscape (acquired by AOL) and Momentum (acquired by McCann/Interpublic Group.).
Aufhauser earned his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and his MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern University. A water polo player at Stanford, Aufhauser is now an avid basketball player and gold medallist as a member of the United States Masters team at multiple Maccabi Games.
