Arnaud Mourot is the Co-Director of Ashoka Europe. A member of the French Olympic wrestling team for 10 years and a graduate of ESCP Business School, Mourot has been involved in the humanitarian sector since he finished his studies. He founded and led the NGO “Play International” (formerly Sport Sans Frontières) in 1999. He has also contributed to the development of various social businesses and Citizen Sector Organisations (CSOs) in France.

Mourot launched the operations of Ashoka France, Belgium and Switzerland in 2005, and he now leads the development of Ashoka in southern Europe and French-speaking countries. Additionally, Mourot leads innovation for Ashoka’s “Everyone a Changemaker” (EACH) initiative businesses.

Mourot is married and is the father of three children. He lives in Switzerland.

The speakers

Using the unique power of sport to bring people together, the Olympism in Action Forum saw a range of global players, including Olympic Movement stakeholders, athletes, private and public sector leaders, NGO representatives, academics, artists and the media come together to talk on topical contemporary issues. Chosen because of their ability to effect change and their wide range of sometimes differing opinions, the speakers led lively debates and seeked to challenge received wisdom to inspire new ways of thinking.
