12 September 2023 - The NOC and ChileValora – the Commission of the National Certification System of Labour Competencies – have presented the four new profiles for certifying coaches. The aim of this certification programme, launched by the NOC in 2019, is to regularise, standardise and verify the training of sports coaches from sports initiation to high level. The NOC has established a strategic alliance with ChileValora so that beneficiaries of this training have formal recognition of their skills by the State. More details here.

In Chile, dozens of children took part in Olympic Day 2019 at the Olympic Training Centre. The event was attended by the President of the, Miguel Ángel Mujica, and sports minister Pauline Kantora. The programme featured a number of sports activities, and documentaries were screened on the Olympic Movement in Chile and around the world. The 2019 edition was organised jointly by the NOC and Santo Tomás University, which supplied volunteers to run the event. More details here.
