Welcome
Dear Colleagues,
Announcing the IOC Course on ‘Respiratory Care of Olympic Athletes’, to be held on 25 and 26 October 2024, in Rome, Italy
Would you like to expand your knowledge in the following areas of respiratory care of your athletes?
Recognize patterns of respiratory illness, risk factors and key clinical features of acute respiratory illness in athletes, perform, and interpret appropriate special tests to diagnose respiratory conditions in high level athletes in the clinic and in the field that distinguish infectious respiratory conditions, asthma, and EILO, implement evidence-based therapeutic and prevention strategies to care for high-level athletes with acute respiratory illness, collaborate with respiratory specialists by recognizing and acquiring field data related to challenging diagnostic and therapeutic situations
If yes, then please join us in the beautiful city of Rome (Italy) in October this year for the first IOC Course on ‘Respiratory Care of Olympic Athletes’. We will not only engage in interactive discussions on selected topics, but also have several practical demonstrations and case discussions in break-out groups to explore practical ways to improve respiratory care of your Olympic and other high-level athletes.
Please register soon as there is limited space.
We look forward to seeing you in Rome!!
