The Olympic Volunteers Virtual Community

When the Olympic Games end and the Olympic flame is extinguished, there are many people who want the unique experience they have just had to continue indefinitely.

The Olympic volunteers, who give so much to ensure the success of the event, are among the most fervent supporters of the Olympic Games, and embody the Olympic spirit, Olympism and the Olympic values.

This is why the IOC has decided to create an Olympic Volunteers Virtual Community: the aim is to provide a unique, dedicated space for Olympic volunteers, should they so wish, to stay in touch with the Olympic Movement, after each edition of the Olympic Games and Youth Olympic Games.

The volunteers will get to receive relevant content, attend unique online events, share their experiences and promote the Olympic values in their respective communities.

It’s the start of a new journey – a new Olympic experience.
