Inspired by her compatriot Linda Moore, whom she saw playing at the 1988 Games in her home city of Calgary, when curling was a demonstration sport, Cheryl drew nearer to her dream in 2009 in Edmonton, when she led her team to qualify for Vancouver 2010. Then she achieved it in an incredible atmosphere, taking the silver medal in the Olympic women’s competition in the final against Sweden. Today, the Canadian skip and her team-mates are doing their utmost to prepare for a rematch in Sochi. The dream goes on.
