This year’s edition of the OCOG IKL Workshop will take place from 28 November to 1 December 2023 at Olympic House in Lausanne, Switzerland. The annual event aims to foster collaboration, partnership and good practice exchanges between OCOG IKL teams, and will bring together representatives from Paris 2024, Milano Cortina 2026, Los Angeles 2028, Brisbane 2032, the IPC, the IOC IKL team, several IOC FAs and the Games Management team. With less than a year to go, the Olympic Games Paris 2024 and related IKL activities will be the main focus of the workshop, which will also look at the following items:

  • Clarify recent changes and introduce the latest evolutions in IKL.
  • Encourage OCOG IKL teams to devise methods to best support each other with the implementation of targeted, needs-driven knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Facilitate good practice exchanges to enable effective implementation of learning strategies within an OCOG.
  • Consider improvements to the roll-out of IKL programmes and services.
  • Explore opportunities for innovation and consider how to fully understand, track and make use of what is already available.

The discussions and outcomes of the workshop will be covered in the next IKL Newsletter edition.
