Placing a distinct emphasis on the importance of environmentalism and sustainable development, this format incorporated two main projects.

The Green YOV – This project took the form of an attractive poster campaign in the YOV. The posters on display did address issues such as responsible waste and warm water management, heating efficiently and saving energy, with the aim of motivating the athletes and team officials to apply this advice to their daily lives.

Mountain Awareness – On the one hand, the mountains offer countless opportunities for practising winter sports; on the other hand, venturing out into the Alpine environment also involves risks which should not be underestimated. These excursions gave the participants a better understanding of how to move safely, assess risks objectively and react appropriately to danger in the mountains. This activity was offered on a daily basis and limited to a maximum of 30 participants per workshop.
