YOG hurdles champion Nicholas Hough to represent Australia at the 2013 Summer Universiade

Nicholas Hough went home from the first-ever Summer Youth Olympic Games, in Singapore in 2010, with a gold medal in the 110-metres hurdles and a personal best time of 13.37 seconds.

Three years later, the 19-year-old athlete is not only Australia’s current under-20s 110-metre hurdles record holder, but in July, having recently been selected to join Athletics Australia’s 28-strong squad, he will be representing his country in the 100m and 200m events at the 27th Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia, which sees over 13,500 university students from over 170 countries compete across 27 different sports.
