The purpose of the visit is to take a deep dive into the proposal and the local context, with a view to an election by the IOC Session in July.

A media roundtable will provide the opportunity for media representatives to hear about the objectives and scope of the Future Host Commission’s visit. Media will also have the opportunity to put questions to the two IOC directors responsible for supporting the Future Host Commissions in exploring, monitoring and encouraging interest in hosting the Olympic Games.
