Besides the historical, cultural or educational activities available inside the Seoul Olympic Park, the six sports venues built within the Park for the Olympic Games Seoul 1988 are still in use and serve diverse purposes:
- The Olympic Gymnastics Hall, currently known as the KSPO Dome, is used to host a variety of events, notably concerts. It also functions as a sport and wellness club for the local population with over 30’000 members.
- The Olympic Swimming Pool hosted the Games swimming competitions. It remains extensively used by the local population for leisure and swimming lessons. Sub-sites within the swimming pool include a full-equipped gymnasium and multipurpose indoor hall.
- The Olympic Fencing Gymnasium, repurposed as a handball venue, also hosts music concerts by Korean and international artists.
- The Olympic Tennis Centre, continues to be a tennis venue and has hosted tournaments, including the Korean Open Tennis Championships.
- The Olympic Velodrome is now a multipurpose facility. It features an in-field football pitch and during weekends of the summer months visitors can enjoy cycle racing at the velodrome track.
- The Olympic Weightlifting Gymnasium, known as the Woori Finance Art Hall, was conceived as a multipurpose venue and has served various sports such as boxing, wrestling, Korean wrestling, judo, table tennis, and cultural events.
