St Moritz’s Olympic legacy is celebrated and visible throughout the village. There are 17 illustrated plaques on permanent display at six venues in and around the resort, detailing the history of each, with St Moritz’s two Olympic Winter Games taking pride of place on all of them. Meanwhile, at the entrances to the resort, visitors are greeted by hoardings bearing the official posters of the Olympic Winter Games St Moritz 1928 and 1948.

The restoration of the main building at the Olympic Stadium by a Swiss designer in the 2000s has revived an important part of St Moritz’s proud Olympic past. Now the designer’s home, its many original features have been restored to their former glory. The building was the focal point of both the 1928 and 1948 Games, and its interior has many reminders of the two events, including black and white photographs and an original gold medal from 1948.

Meanwhile, an Olympic Stone in the southern part of the village commemorates the winners of each event at the two editions of the Games.
