Saturday 27 September, from 2 in the afternoon till 2 in the morning

For this haute culture parade, The Olympic Museum is putting its collections on a red carpet and presenting exclusively a selection of items brought back from the Beijing Games and accounts of the Olympic adventure - one month after the event.

This year, the Museum is opting for a China Night with, as a focal point, the discovery of Chinese opera. Thanks to artists from the Bei Fang Kun Qu Opera, visitors can get to know the diversity of this art, which combines singing, acrobatics and handling weapons. The sophisticated make-up, the refinement of the costumes and the subtlety of the body language characterise these operas. Plenty to inspire youngsters, who can learn about the performers’ preparations in a workshop.
