Hi again from Daily Routine, where we bring you five interesting, entertaining, informative and enjoyable things to help you get through your day.

During these challenging times when so many people around the world are staying home to help fight the coronavirus outbreak, we're all looking for a bit of motivation and good news.

Here at Olympic Channel we want to help you stay safe, strong and healthy.

So sit back and enjoy the five good things we've found you for today.

1. Boston Red Sox thank healthcare workers

American actor-director John Krasinski has launched a DIY sunday night You Tube show called Some Good News.

The show which debuted two weeks ago has been an instant hit, with 1.66M subscribers to the channel.

Three episodes in, Krasinski has spoken to celebrities such Steve Carell, his co-star from TV series The Office and his wife, actress Emily Blunt, but his latest episode has a sports twist, surprising some healthcare works in Boston.

With the the help of Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz and the entire Red Sox baseball team, staff members from the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center COVID-19 unit were thanked for their efforts, getting a chance to step out onto Fenway Park and throw some pitches. Take a look.

2. Home Workout with Alex Morgan

USA women's football star Alex Morgan is due to give birth to her first child this month and has been keeping active in the lead up to her due date.

The 30-year-old delivers your dose of daily exercise inspiration.

The London 2012 Gold medallist said on Instagram, ''Garage gym workouts keeping me sane, fit, and feeling good before baby girl turns our world upside down (in a good way ☺️)

Don't forget to check out all our home workouts where Olympians around the world have been putting together workouts to help you #StayStrong and #StayActive.

3. Listen: Podcast

During a period of such uncertainly, it's helpful to listen to the wisdom and experience of others.

British Boxing star Nicola Adams knows all to well how to focus and has honed her craft, in creating a mindset that allows her to overcome any challenges she faces.

Take a listen to her story on the Olympic Channel podcast, as the double Olympic Olympic champion and world champion, shares her journey and unpacks how she was able to be so successful and undefeated as a pro boxer.

Our Podcast archive is a treasure trove of inspiration with the likes of Simone Biles, Kelly Slater and Dina Asher-Smith telling their stories.

There's plenty for figure skating fans too with Adam Rippon, Javier Fernandez, and Nathan Chen among those who have opened up to Olympic Channel.

4. Watch

New Zealand boxer Joseph Parker has proven he packs more than just a punch.

The silver medallist from the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympics has been working on his lip-syncing and dancing moves, with a series of music videos while in isolation in New Zealand.

His latest video involves his partner Laine as they re-enact "You're the One That I Want" from the 1978 musical Grease.

If you've got any requests for his next video, we're sure he would be keen to hear your suggestions.

Don't forget that on Olympic Channel we have plenty of amazing Original Series for you to get inspired by.

From feature-length documentaries to mind-blowing Olympic shorts, there's something for everyone.

Our boxing feature The People's Fighters on the great Teofilo Stevenson and the story of Cuba at the Olympics is a must-watch.

If ice hockey is more your thing, then there's the The Nagano Tapes.

And the full length film on how Argentina's Golden Generation beat the USA's basketball Dream Team that included LeBron James, Allen Iverson, and Carmelo Anthony is also free to watch right now.

Also, we have added live TV channels where you can watch classic Olympic finals and Opening/Closing Ceremonies live on Olympic Channel TV.

5. Upskilling while doing what you love at home

It's not so easy to continue doing all the things we enjoy most, but imagination and technology does go a long way.

You may have seen Philipp Klein Herrero's epic ski video edit, which has inspired many to do their usual outside activities, creatively indoors.

Check out Miguel Porteous surfing and nine-year-old Kiara Goold getting her first 10-point perfect wave ride.

It's fair to say while we can't be as adventurous outside, upskilling on things like our editing and photography skills is a silver lining.
