The Olympic Experience - Richmond

The Richmond Olympic Experience is proud to be the first member of the Olympic Museums Network in Canada. Located in the Richmond Olympic Oval, home to the long track speed skating events during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, the Richmond Olympic Experience maintains the legacy of the Games, sharing Canadian and international sports history and the spirit of Olympism with guests.

Attendees begin their journey watching Pursuit of a Dream, a feature film shown in the Richmond Olympic Experience Theatre, evoking the triumphs, tragedies, adversities and celebrations of Team Canada and Olympic athletes. Within the gallery space, guests can participate in thrilling sports simulators like the bobsleigh or sit-ski, engage with educational displays, and interact with state-of-the-art technologies that deliver compelling Olympic history and narratives.

Outside the Oval, guests can discover the incredible journey of the Olympic torch relay across Canada, with a commemorative trail through art installations and historical timelines along the banks of the Fraser River.
