Deutsches Sport & Olympia Museum

The German Sport & Olympic Museum in the centre of Cologne presents the World of Sport from antiquity up to the present day covering an area of more than 2,000 m2. In an historic customs building on the banks of the Rhine you can experience a fascinating journey through 2,500 years of sport and Olympic history, with unique exhibits from ancient Greek athletics to the professional sport of the 21st century.

Special exhibitions at regular intervals explore contemporary and historical themes. Hands-on activities, sporting activities, multifaceted tours, state-of-the-art museum education and facilities for staging events of every conceivable type make the German Sport & Olympic Museum an attractive venue for those interested in sport and culture.
