バイオグラフィー

Urho Peltonen took part in three Olympics starting in 1912, where he won the bronze medal in the both hands javelin, and placed ninth in the "normal" javelin. In 1920 Peltonen won the silver medal, finishing seventh in 1924. At the Finnish Championships he won twice in the javelin with the best arm and five times with both hands. In 1913 he set a world record of 109.93 m (57.96 + 51.97) in the both hands javelin. He later became an official with the International Association of Athletics Federations and wrote Olympialaiskisat Los Angelesissa 1932 about the Los Angeles Olympics.
