バイオグラフィー

Kelcie Banks went to the 1988 Seoul Olympics as a favorite, having won the 1986 US and World Championships, and a gold medal at the 1987 Pan American Games. But at Seoul, Banks was knocked out in round one by Dutchman Regilio Tuur, ending his Olympic dream. Banks turned professional after the 1988 Olympics, fighting through 1997, and finished with a pro record of 22 wins (11 by KO), 6 losses, and 2 draws. He won 18 of his first 20 pro bouts, but never fought for a title. He attempted to return to fighting in 2002 but could not get a license. Banks was inducted into the USA Boxing Hall of Fame in 1993. After he stopped fighting, Banks worked as a trainer at Johnny Tocco’s Ringside Boxing Gym.
