バイオグラフィー

Dionne Rose competed in athletics at the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games. She ran the high hurdles at both Olympics, and also competed in long jump in 1992 at Barcelona. Rose competed at the World Championships in 1995, 1997, 1999, and 2001. She won gold medals in the 100 hurdles at the 1998 and 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games, competing in 2002 as Dionne Rose-Henley. She won Jamaican titles in the 100 hurdles in 1996 and 1998, and in the long jump in 1993 and 1995.

Rose attended college in the United States, at Middle Tennessee State University. She later coached at Middle Tennessee for two seasons before moving to Tennessee State. In 2017 she was named assistant coach at Coastal Carolina University. Unfortunately, she developed cancer and was not able to coach there, dying one year later at only 49-years-old.
