Craig Wilson played water polo at UC Santa Barbara, playing goalie for their 1979 NCAA championship team. Wilson played at three Olympics as a goalie – 1984, 1988, 1992. He also competed internationally for the United States multiple times, winning gold at the 1991 World Cup, competing at the 1982, 1986, and 1991 World Championships, and winning three medals at the Pan American Games – gold in 1983 and silvers in 1987 and 1991. Wilson was USA Water Polo’s male athlete of the year in 1983, 1987-88, and 1991. He played for a time as a professional in Barcelona.
Wilson worked in medical sales for a number of years in several different positions. He was with Cardinal Health from 1994-98 and then was an orthopaedic sales rep with Sulzer Orthopaedics in 1998-99. He then worked with Bristol-Myers Squibb from 1999-2004, before moving to become accounts manager with Oncology Therapeutics Network from 2004-06. Wilson was with McKesson from 2006-10, and then moved on to AmeriSource Bergen, where he became the director of technology solutions.
