The street skateboarding world championships in 2023 will begin on Sunday 29 January at the Aljada skate park in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
The week-long event, culminating with the final on Sunday 5 February, will crown two new world champions and will also enable skateboarders to bank ranking points as they try to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Tokyo 2020 Olympic medallists Horigome Yuto, Rayssa Leal, Nishiya Momiji, and Jagger Eaton are among the 277 street skateboarders set to arrive for the contest.
