Pan American Games 2023 medal events on Day 3: Discover schedule and how to watch live action from Santiago on 23 October

A mammoth 38 gold medals will be awarded on Day 3 of the 19th Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile on Monday 23 October 2023.

After winning gold and silver in the individual 10m platform, Mexican divers Gaby Agundez and Alejandra Orozco will be strongly fancied to take victory together in the synchro event having won bronze at Tokyo 2020 in 2021.

That is one of two diving finals on the day at the pool, with nine golds also being awarded in swimming.

The climax of the men's and women's basketball 3x3 competitions is among the highlights with Jimmer Fredette hoping to lead USA's men to gold. And Brazil's Rebeca Andrade will bid for the women's all-around title in artistic gymnastics.
