Olympic Esports Finals 2023: Chess.com finals stage players confirmed
The top four will compete in the Chess.com finals stage on 24 June 2023 in Singapore.
The top four Chess.com players have been confirmed for the finals stage at the inaugural Olympic Esports Finals 2023 from in Singapore after the opening rounds.
They came through the preliminary stage, which featured 10 players who has reached Singapore various qualifying events, as well as a semi-finals round.
The final four will now play in the third-place match and grand final at the Suntec Conference and Exhibition Centre on 24 June to be crowned Olympic Esports Finals winner.
Chess.com was put forward by the International Chess Federation to represent chess in the Olympic Esports Series 2023.

All matches in the tournament saw both players in each match have an equal number of rounds with the White pieces and the Black pieces. The finalists took part in an opening preliminary stage, which whittled the 10 finalists down to the final four.
The finals stage will be played as a best-of-four, with each player having two rounds as White and two rounds as Black. Draws are broken by a tiebreak game of Armageddon chess, where a draw counts as a win for Black, but White starts with more time on the clock after a hidden time bidding process.
Alongside Chess.com, nine other games are part of the Olympic Esports Series and Olympic Esports Finals. They are: Tic Tac Bow (archery), WBSC eBaseball™: POWER PROS (baseball), Zwift (cycling), Just Dance (dance), Gran Turismo (motorsport), Virtual Regatta (sailing), Fortnite (shooting), Virtual Taekwondo (taekwondo), and Tennis Clash (tennis).
