Olympic Esports Finals 2023: Just Dance finalists confirmed

The eight finalists – five men and three women – will compete in the Just Dance finals on 23 June 2023 in Singapore.

Eight Just Dance players have been confirmed for the inaugural Olympic Esports Finals 2023 from 23–25 June in Singapore.

The five men and three women are from eight different countries from four continents, with hosts Singapore also being represented among the finalists.

All eight finalists in Just Dance were selected through invitation. Among the world's best exponents of the game, they will duke it out at the Suntec Conference and Exhibition Centre on 23 June to be crowned Olympic Esports Finals winner.

Just Dance was put forward by the World Dance Sport Federation to represent dance sport in the Olympic Esports Series 2023.

The confirmed finalists are:

  • Amandine Morisset (TheFairyDina) from France (F)
  • Diego Silva (Diegho San) from Brazil (M)
  • Joseph Gabriel Cordero (Aazzlano) from USA (M)
  • Aleksanteri Landström (TheAllu) from Finland (M)
  • Fang Yuesi (Elsie Fang) from People's Republic of China (F)
  • Adithiyan Armstrong (Arms73) from India (M)
  • Siti Zhywee bte Ramle (Zhywee) from Singapore (F)
  • Antonino Pomilia (Just Nino) from Italy (M)

Olympic Esports Finals 2023: Just Dance competition format

The eight finalists will be drawn into a single-elimination knockout bracket, in a direct 1v1 elimination style. In the quarter-finals, this will be centred on a format known as "One Song Challenge", before the semi-finals and finals take place over a best-of-three series.

While the players get in-game points, judges will determine the winner of each match-up.

Alongside Just Dance, nine other games are part of the Olympic Esports Series and Olympic Esports Finals. They are: Tic Tac Bow (archery), WBSC eBASEBALL™: Power Pros (baseball), Chess.com (chess), Zwift (cycling), Gran Turismo (motorsport), Virtual Regatta (sailing), Fortnite (shooting), Virtual Taekwondo (taekwondo), and Tennis Clash (tennis).
