Sky Brown will finally make her home X Games debut this weekend when the women’s park skater hits the pavement in Chiba.
The two-time Olympic bronze medallist was born and bred in Japan’s Miyazaki Prefecture although she competes for Britain, her father’s native country.
While she already has two X Games gold medals to her name, Chiba will be the first time Brown - who is still dealing with pain in her knee and shoulder stemming from pre-Paris 2024 injuries - enters the event on home soil, after debuting at the X Games when she was 11 in 2019.
Brown is targeting gold in two sports in LA28 - skateboarding and surfing. Find out below how to watch her take her first steps toward a third Olympic Games in Japan starting from Friday (20 September).
