Diving World Championships: 2-10 February 2024
The GB diving team turning up in Qatar is EPIC, not least because it features four-time Olympian and four-time medallist, Tom Daley, who finally won an emotional Olympic gold, alongside Matty Lee, in the 10m platform diving at Tokyo 2020, plus bronze in the individual event. After time out from the sport, a single moment in which his young son, Robbie, told him he wanted to 'see papa at the Olympics', brought Daley back to the pool.
Three-time Olympic medallist, including gold at Rio 2016 in the men's 3m synchro, Jack Laugher will be hoping to scratch the itch of not yet claiming a World gold, despite a hefty four silver and four bronze tally thus far.
The history-making Lois Toulson and Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, who claimed a first ever Worlds medal for GB women in diving last time out, will be hoping to replicate the podium performance from Fukuoka, in which they secured silver.

British high diving entry at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships
High Diving World Championships: 13-15 February
Aidan Heslop might have been making a first appearance at the World Championship in Fukuoka last year but he certainly made a splash, competing the hardest dive ever competed at a Worlds event.
Ultimately missing out on the podium, he'll be looking for a podium place when he takes to the platform, which, by the way, is 27m-high – when the competition starts on 13 February into the waters of the Old Doha Port.
High diving is not currently an Olympic sport.

Swimming World Championships: 11-18 February
Relay spots are the main focus for the British swimming squad in Doha, particularly as reigning mixed team (4x100m) and men's 4×200m freestyle relay Olympic champions.
Adam Peaty, the two-time 100m breaststroke Olympic gold medallist, returns to the pool having had a challenging few years out of it. This first outing in a while will indicate his form leading up to what could be his third Games.
Tom Dean, the two-time Olympic gold medallist, will be hoping his showing in Doha will confirm that he is on track for his ambitious plan to target an incredible five medals in France.
Olympic gold medallists in the mixed relay, Kathleen Dawson and Anna Hopkin, part of the team who secured a world record in the event in Tokyo, are also in Doha.
