Hanyu Yuzuru announced the first ice show of his professional figure skating career on Friday (30 September) when he also launched his official Instagram and Twitter accounts.
The show in November and December will be completely self-produced by Hanyu, who is the only scheduled performer.
The two-time Olympic champion has titled it - "Prologue".
"I wanted to produce an ice show that reflected my skating career, my personal history", Hanyu said in a statement that promptly went out at 11:11.
"For the first time, it is a show where I am responsible for everything. I am going to pour my heart and soul into this ice show which I hope will serve as a prologue to many different stories to come".
Hanyu, who retired from competitive skating in July, will perform twice in Yokohama on 4 and 5 November followed by two more shows on 2 and 3 December in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture.
The 27-year-old will be in charge of everything, from the concept and logo of the show to the costume to the stage.
Hanyu finally made his social media debut after years of SNS silence, with the Twitter handle @YUZURUofficial_ and yuzuruofficial_ on Instagram.
