Eight medals will be up for grabs on day two (12 August) at the multi-sport European Championships in Munich, Germany.

The highlight of the day is the women's BMX freestyle contest that sees two of the Tokyo 2020 medallists in action: Olympic champion Charlotte Worthington and defending European champion Nikita Ducarroz of Switzerland.

The first track cycling medals will also be awarded at the Messe Munchen and four nations will be crowned European champions after the team pursuit and team sprint finals.

Finally, in the triathlon's women's elite race, Switzerland's Julie Derron will look to defend her title while 2021 runner-up Annika Koch is bound to thrive off the home crowd.

On Friday there's also going to be some action at the Olympic Regatta Centre with more rowing repechage and semi-final rounds, whilst qualifications in sport climbing's women's boulder and men's lead are taking place at the Konigsplatz.
