European Breaking Championships 2023: Preview, full schedule, and how to watch action from the Andalucia Urban Live event

A weekend full of breaking, BMX cycling, and scooter riding action is taking place in the south of Spain, in the city of Almeria.
The European Breaking Championships will be the highlight on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May, as more than 300 breakers will battle to become the king and queen of Europe.
Athletes can also earn ranking points towards Olympic qualification, as the sport will make its debut at Paris 2024 on the iconic Place de la Concorde. 32 breakers: 16 B-Boys, and 16 B-Girls will battle for glory as the first Olympic medals in the dance sport are up for grabs.
Breaking action on the Road to Paris 2024
Day one of the breaking action at the Andalucia Urban Live event in the port of Almeria will see B-Boys and B-Girls battle it out for a place in the Top 16 which will guarantee them passage to the second day.
Day two will begin with a round robin stage to slim 16 down to eight and the finals will begin. It will be winner-takes-all knock-out competition until only one victorious B-Girl and one winning B-Boy remain.
Aside from breaking, another stage will host the events of BMX Park and Scooter, with some of the continent's best athletes competing at the first edition of Andalucia Urban.

WDSF 2023 European Breaking Championships: Stars to watch
B-Girls
World No.3 B-Girl Anti of Italy, who finished second in the last European Champs, will be one to keep an eye out for.
Spanish B-Girl’s Furia and Raw Law will lead the Spanish team in front of their home crowd and will try to reach their first International podium.
Senorita Carlota of France, Belgium’s MadMax, Jilou of Germany, and AT (Finland) are other the top B-Girls participating in Almeria, while current European Champion B-Girl India (Netherlands) has not confirmed her participation yet.
B-Boys
Dany Dann arrives in Almeria after winning the Breaking for Gold Series in Rio. The current World No.1 is not planning on stopping there and aims to defend his European crown.
His rival in last year’s final was B-Boy Kid Karam, who will again be involved.
B-Boy and lawyer Xak will be the strongest representation of the host country, Spain.
Ukraine’s B-Boy Kuzya and his teammate, the B-Boy Lussy Sky, are other potential title contenders.
