The 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup will be staged in Bangladesh in September and October of 2024.
Australia are bidding for a fourth consecutive crown after defeating hosts South Africa in the final in Cape Town last February.
Ten teams will contest the cricket tournament with eight already decided.
Bangladesh qualified automatically as hosts as well as the top six teams from the last World Cup - Australia, South Africa, England, India, New Zealand and West Indies.
The eighth spot went to the next-highest team in the ICC Women's T20 rankings on 27 February 2023 which was Pakistan.
The last two berths will be allocated at the 10-team World Cup Qualifier event to be held in early 2024 at a venue yet to be announced.
Ireland and Sri Lanka will be among the favourites having played at the 2023 World Cup, while Thailand will seek a return to the global T20 showpiece having contested the 2020 competition.
This will be the ninth edition of the Women's T20 World Cup.
Of the eight previous competitions, Australia have won the title a record six times with England, inaugural victors in 2009, and West Indies (2016) the only other champions.
This T20 World Cup will be the last one before cricket makes it Olympic debut at Los Angeles 2028.
