Pandelela Rinong has a chance at redemption in the women's 10m synchronised platform divingfinal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games on Saturday (6 August).

The Malaysian star was way off her best in the individual 10m platform final on Thursday (4 August), finishing 11th out of 12.

But tomorrow, she will line up alongside Nur Dhabitah with the intention of defending her title.

Four years ago at Gold Coast 2018, Rinong plunged to synchronised glory alongside Cheong Jun Hoong.

There is another good reason to believe; Rinong and Dhabitah are in red hot form at the moment having won the South East Asian Games title in May and bronze at the World Championships in June.

"I think we work together very well, we have a good chemistry," Dhabitah told Olympics.com at the SEA Games. "I look forward to doing synchro in the future with her, we understand each other very well.

"I'm very very happy to have her as my synchro partner, and I'm very honoured because she is such a great diver."
