Loh Kean Yew is into the semi-finals at the Singapore Open 2022.
Reigning world badminton champion Loh beat Li Shi Feng of China 21-15, 21-18 in the quarter-finals on Friday (15 July) in front of his home crowd.
The 25-year-old is sixth seed for this event and hoping to become the first Singaporean men's singles Open champion since 1962.

Loh Kean Yew will face Indonesia's number four seed Anthony Sinisuka Ginting in the semis. He overcame Malaysia's Ng Tze Yong 21-15, 21-12.
Elsewhere, Japan's unseeded Naraoka Kodai beat another big name. Having beaten Indonesia's Jonatan Christie in round two, he knocked out India's Thomas Cup hero HS Prannoy in the quarter-finals on Friday 12-21, 21-14, 21-18.
Zhao Jun Peng beat Nhat Ngyuen in the other quarter-final, 21-18, 23-21.
Women's quarter-final results in Singapore
PV Sindhu booked her semi-final spot in the women's singles competition. The two-time Olympic medallist, who is seeded third at the Singapore Open, beat Han Yue of China 17-21, 21-11, 21-19.
She'll play Kawakami Saena next after the player from Japan beat Pornpawee Chochuwong in straight games, 21-17, 21-19.
Fellow Japanese player Ohori Aya is also into the last four, after 21-13, 15-21, 22-20 victory over India's Saina Nehwal.
China's Wang Zhi Yi completes the line-up for the semi-finals, after a 21-17, 21-18 win over Gregoria Mariska Tunjung from Indonesia.
