The WTA Finals 2024 (2-9 November) took place in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.
The top seven women's singles players, plus Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova, and eight doubles pairings were in town, aiming to be crowned the 2024 year-end champions on the WTA tennis tour.
Each day saw four matches played at the King Saud University Indoor Arena until the day of the finals on 9 November, where the end-of-season event winners will be crowned.
Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen capped off her amazing year with a memorable tournament debut. The Paris 2024 gold medallist from the People's Republic of China reached Saturday's final eventually losing to Coco Gauff 6-3, 4-6, 6-7 (2).
