Day 2 of the 2023 Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands will see 28 sets of medals contested on Tuesday (21 November).
Australian archer Ryan Tyack, who won team bronze at Rio 2016 and carried his nation's flag in Sunday's Opening Ceremony, begins his campaign for medals in the Recurve Single 720 (72 arrows) competition.
That is one of four archery finals on Tuesday with Tyack also competing in the elimination rounds of the mixed team event where the winners will obtain one men's and one women's quota spot for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The 32-year-old also takes part in the Recurve Match Play event which starts on Thursday.
The judo competition draws to its conclusion with four golds - in open weight and team events - decided. And there are four more weightlifting competitions with medals awarded for each of the snatch, the clean and jerk, and total weight lifted.
Eight more medals are up for grabs in swimming with the 4x200m freestyle relays ending the night.
