He's a PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic silver medallist, holds two silvers from the World Championships, and finished as runner up in the Grand Prix finals... twice. Now he wants to be "the leading man in skating" and after nearly walking away from the sport, the Japanese star made a coaching switch to try and hit the top of the podium at the Beijing 2022 Games.
