A fun-filled ceremony to begin the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympics included K-pop music and dance performances, glittering lights and laser shows, the Athletes' Parade,... and of course the Olympic flame. Spread across two venues in PyeongChang and Gangneung, it was a fitting opening ahead of the start of YOG sporting competition, as torchbearer Jeong-min Lee lit the Youth Olympic Cauldron and the games were declared open.
