Arab Sibghatullah delivered a gutsy performance before losing to Tokyo 2020 bronze medalist Matthias Casse in the men’s -81kg judo event at Paris 2024. The 23-year-old refugee judoka scored within 12 seconds, but Belgium’s Casse—the 2021 world champion and three-time silver medalist—recovered to win with an Ippon.
