Youth Olympian Nikolaj Memola wins 2022 ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating title in Riga
Italian skater Memola beats Japan's Nakata on day three of the event in Latvia, after Jia Shin won the women's title.

Nikolaj Memola was crowned the men's champion at the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating event in Riga on Saturday (10 September).
The Italian finished with 225.76 points in Latvia, ahead of second placed Rio Nakata from Japan. Rakhat Bralin of Kazakhstan picked up the bronze medal.
Memola also competed at the Lausanne 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in Switzerland.
Earlier in the event, Jia Shin of Korea won the women's title with 194.68 points, ahead of American skater Soho Lee who scored 185.92 points. Ami Najkai from Japan was third.
Cayla Smith & Andy Deng of USA qualified for the Junior Grand Prix final with their win in the Pairs competition.
