WST Rome Park World Championships 2023: Hiraki Cocona tops field in women's semi-final
The Tokyo 2020 silver medallist showed remarkable consistency to advance to the World Championship final ahead of compatriot Hinano Kusaki and Brazil's Raicca Ventura.

Hiraki Cocona impressed with a 91.48 second run score to top the women's semi-final field at WST Rome Park World Championships 2023 on Saturday (7 October).
The 15-year-old Japanese skateboarder carried over her impressive form from yesterday using an array of lip tricks to bank two 91-plus runs and ensure she will have the privilege of going last in tomorrow's final at The Spot Skatepark.
Joining Hiraki for the conclusion of the Paris 2024 Olympic Qualifier, streaming live on Olympic Channel via Olympics.com and the official Olympics app for mobile devices, will be recently crowned Asian Games 2023 women's park champion Hinano Kusaki, who took second ahead of Brazil's **Raicca Ventura in third. **
The United States will be represented by two riders with Minna Stess and Ruby Lilley locking in their final places in fifth and sixth, while Olympic champion Yosozumi Sakura qualified in seventh.
The World Championships in Ostia is doubling as a qualifier for Paris 2024 with crucial ranking points for the upcoming Games on the line in addition to the world titles.
