The 2022/23 World Rugby Sevens Series rolls into Hamilton, New Zealand, on 21-22 January for the latest round of the men’s and women’s rugby competitions.
The host nation’s Black Ferns go into round three joint top of the women’s standings with Antipodean rivals Australia, having won the last leg in Cape Town.
Keep an eye out for Aussie points machine and current series top scorer Maddison Levi, while New Zealand’s Michaela Blyde is just behind her in second.
Meanwhile Hamilton is the fourth stop of the men’s competition, which is headed up by Samoa and South Africa in joint first position, with New Zealand just behind in third.
All Blacks flying winger Akuila Rokolisoa will be hopeful of building on his league-leading 127 points.
Remember, there is even more to play for this season with the teams ranked 1-4 at the end of the 2022/23 world series automatically qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
