Darja Varfolomeev was the undisputed star of the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships 2023 in Valencia, Spain.
The 16-year-old German won all four individual apparatus disciplines before claiming the all-around title to join the great Evgeniya Kanaeva - in 2009 and 2011 - as the only athletes to achieve individual gold medal sweeps at Worlds.
Israel took the final event, the 3 Ribbons 2 Balls, to finish with two group golds to the People's Republic of China's one.
